155 West Second Avenue, Plain City Ohio
I had to take a break from investing for many years and spent the years between 22 and 28 honing my carpenter skills and making a living. I bought this house in 2003 to raise a family in and it required a ton of work, but I figured I would live it and do the work at the same time. I bought it when I was 29 and completed it when I was 35. During those years I worked as a professional tradesman, mainly as a carpenter, but I wasn't afraid to take on any job. You can see from the pictures below I remodeled every aspect of this house, built a garage in the back which became a workshop ( that I still use today). This house is now a rental that's why its on this portfolio. I paid it off, opened a line of credit with Huntington bank, and now it is the backbone of my investing career.
Daddy's little girl, the best helper a dad can have!!!
The new roof! Thanks to the many friends who helped me pull this one off, and of course my brother, Rusty! 4 layers of shingles, and a layer of cedar shake made this roof job very dirty.
New Floors, new kitchen and thanks to my dad for helping me along the way!!!
I dug that by hand, I must have been crazy!!!
